These
images are part of a bigger illustration I recently completed. A kind
of collage of images I put together for a gift for my younger sister,
after all the 16th birthday is a special one and she means a lot to me. I
wanted to produce a few images that either represented what she meant
to me or represented our friendship, or her hobbies and interest.
Looking back at the final piece I should have linked each image to the
next and been a little more playful and inventive with it in that
respect, it is something I will keep in mind next time. These are my
favourite examples.
I do love combining cross stitch with other elements, it has a lovely quality.
